Oklahoma Judge Update
I've been quite surprised to see that the new number one way people are getting to this website is through a search for information on Judge Donald D. Thompson. So for all of you out there seeking further info: there's not much out there. Here's what I've found:
The Daily Ardmoreite reports that former U.S. Attorney Patrick M. Ryan has been appointed to handle the case against Thompson, with a pretrial conference set for August 20 and a trial with the Court on the Judiciary on September 13. Ryan was a federal prosecutor in the cases against Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.
KOTV.com reports on a press conference held by three of the court employees whose statements led to the petition to remove the judge from the bench.
