1913 Massachusetts Marriage Law Survives Round One
Judge Carol Ball of the Massachusetts Superior Court has declined to enjoin the state from enforcing the 1913 marriage law that prohibits marriages unless they would be valid in the couples' home states. The plaintiffs will appeal.
