Transporter Failure
The EPS manifold on the transporter is blown, so no beaming today.
Okay, so it's the exhaust manifold on my Wrangler that's leaking, and which caused the vehicle inspection failure yesterday. The mechanic estimates it's going to be around $600 to fix the thing, and he took my office number to leave me a message about whether they could do the repair today. No call yet, and of course I left their card in the car, which is in a parking lot a couple of blocks away.
At least the parking lot is plowed. It took them 24 hours to get the city lot cleared of snow from Monday's storm.

UDPATE (11:06 am): The Guyfriend and I walked over to the car, and drove it to the garage. They're expecting the pricey part tomorrow. Grr.
Plus, it's a cold, blustery early March day out there. So when we got back to the office I surfed over to the website for the Caribbean resort where we'll be heading for the honeymoon in July. I feel better already.
