Lunch at the Lake
The Guyfriend's schedule loosened up enough that Friday we were able to pick up some iced beverages and drive over to the nearby state park. This is at the car top boat launch (ie kayaks, canoes, shells, etc.), which doesn't cost to enter. The other entrance includes the beach, so not only do you have to pay, but put up with all the screaming kids on vacation. This is much more soothing and peaceful.
