Travel Plans

I'm getting ready for my (hopefully) last business trip of the year.  I'll be conducting annual site visits for two clients in Minneapolis next week.  Good timing, eh?  Not only is security heightened and therefore causing long lines, delays, etc. so I'm supposed to arrive at least two hours early for a domestic flight, but it's still up in the air whether Northwest's flight attendants will be starting random sickouts on Tuesday.  Oh yeah, I'm scheduled to fly on Northwest.  On Tuesday.

At least (so far) TSA has not yet adopted the British restriction on carrying on any portable electronic devices.  I've got all my books loaded onto my Palm – both summer reading (about 30 Star Trek books) and selected chapters from my texts for my upcoming courses.  Time to work on first assignments, after all.  If more of my professors would actually post them, that is.  Hello?  Professors?  We're waiting.  Eager to get going.  Are you there?

Anyway, think of me next week, and wish me luck not only in getting there on time, but also in returning without delays.  I'd hate to have work interfere with my weekend.  The Girl and I have beach plans!  And look for random photos from Minneapolis next week.
