Molly Ivins, 1944-2007 

As I pulled into the home garage after class tonight, I was saddened by the announcement on NPR that Molly Ivins passed away today. A smart, outspoken, proud liberal with an amazing sense of political humor, her words always cut to the chase for me while also providing a glimpse at the lighter side of the god-awful.

Another luminous inspiration taken from us by breast cancer.
