Told Again, Buh-Bye
Earlier this week I posted my hope that the Navy would return the rescinded signing bonus to a sailor that had been discharged under Don't Ask, Don't Tell but who was then recalled to active duty in Kuwait.
Well, that wish apparently won't be coming true. Even though they recalled him with full knowledge that he was gay and that he had already told (given that they officially, on the record booted him for it), the Navy has now once again announced that he will be discharged - again - under Don't Ask, Don't Tell, because he told his story of being recalled.
This all makes SO much sense.
