Jonesin' For Some Law
Friday evening several of us were chatting while waiting to be called into the courtroom for our oral arguments. One student commented that it's very nice of these judges and attorneys to volunteer to give up a Friday night to sit on the panels for our cases.
Another student replied: "Do you know why they do it? Because they're addicted to the law!"
Me: "Yeah, they're like 'Gimme some law, dude!'"
Prior student: "Exactly! They need their law fix wherever and whenever they can get it."
The general concensus is that we all understand this condition, as we've also come under the law's magical spell.
